| Yuffie at first glance seems to be a bouncy, egotistical teenage girl, but through her ninja training, she has learned to hide her deeper traits. Towards her own kind, she shows her true nature, a sly, coniving, greedy, and slightly energetic heartless whose existance is only dependant on finishing her mission and making her superiors realize her true inner strength. Towards those who only know her human alias, she is a peppy, hyperactive, curious, and cunning town protector who cares deeply for those around her. Although keeping this personality in tow has been a burden on her, Yuffie's need to succeed has still kept her going through the time she has been with them. |

| A born native to Sanzensekai, the sly and self-centered Yuffie lived with her human family of direct decendant, tradition-bound ninja clan members, who were located deep within the Sleeping Forest. Surprisingly however, she was frivolous and couldn't care less about tradition and by the age of ten, Yuffie left her family to travel the country on her own, fighting heartless and stealing valuables off of anyone she came across. After journeying for years, by the time she was about eighteen, Yuffie was ambushed by heartless and was turned into one herself. Lost and confused, she was taken under their wing and given the orders to act as a human and gain the humans trust, thus allowing her to gather information on the humans and reapers who sided with The Creator. Yuffie gladly accepted her orders and went off, traveling from city to city as a town guard and creating a good name for herself. |

| After being transformed into a heartless, Yuffie was granted the abilities that they possesed. She found her newfound abilities of the Silence, Drain, and Vanish spells to be of great aid for her mission, but later found that she still depended mostly on her physical abilities. Even now she refuses to use her spells unless she is in dire need for help. Her main weapon is a large Shuriken (or ninja star), with many smaller weapons consisting of kunais, smoke bombs, and other "hidden items" which she refuses to reveal. |
